Francis Ngannou knocked out Cain Velasquez in his return to the octagon in just 26 seconds in the main event of last night’s UFC Phoenix. A video clip of the devastating beatdown is below:

UFC on ESPN: Ngannou vs. Velasquez took place from the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona and featured an estimated attendance of 14,269. It was Velasquez’s first fight since he beat Travis Browne at UFC 200 in 2016. The loss moves Velasquez’s overall record to 14–3.
Ngannou (13-3) is on a two fight win streak following unanimous decision losses to Stipe Miocic at UFC 220 and Derrick Lewis at UFC 226. He last fought Curtis Blaydes in a rematch to their April 2016 fight, in which he was victorious.
