The Philadelphia Flyers sent Wayne Simmonds to the Nashville Predators for Ryan Hartman and a conditional draft pick, according to Bill Meltzer of NHL.com.

The deal went down just ahead of Monday’s 3 PM ET NHL trade deadline. Philadelphia will receive a fourth-round draft pick in 2020 unless Nashville wins a playoff series. Should that happen, the selection becomes a third-rounder.

Simmons was in his eighth season with the Flyers and had played in 584 games. He is on an expiring contract and has 16 goals with 11 assists through 62 games this season.
