The Vegas Golden Knights gave newly acquired forward Mark Stone one heck of a welcome when he arrived at the airport after being traded from the Ottawa Senators on Monday. Check out his arrival below:

Here’s his reaction:

Stone will take part in his first morning skate with his new club at City National Arena on Tuesday. That skate will be open to the public.

There is no confirmation yet as to whether or not he’ll be in the lineup for tonight’s game against the Dallas Stars. The Golden Knights will play the Dallas Stars tonight at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas.

As previously reported, the Golden Knights acquired Stone for Erik Brannstrom, Oscar Lindberg and a 2020 second-round draft pick. He was on an expiring contract but signed an eight-year extension with the Golden Knights worth $9.5 million annually.

Stone, 26, was considered the biggest NHL star on the market and has scored 28 goals to go with 34 assists in 59 games this season.
