Los Angeles Angels Considering 10-Year $350 Extension For Mike Trout

The Los Angeles Angels are looking to extend the best player in Major League Baseball.

Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports the Angels have considered offering Mike Trout a 10-year $350 million contract extension. It’s not clear if an actual offer has been made.

Trout, 27, is under contract through 2020 and is set to make $33.25 in each of the next two years.

Trout is widely considered the best player in baseball and could secure a decade of guaranteed money should he agree to sign an extension. If not, he’ll still be 29 years old when he hits free agency.
