Lakers Acquire Mike Muscala For Michael Beasley And Ivica Zubac


The Los Angeles Clippers have traded Mike Muscala to the Los Angeles Lakers for Michael Beasley and Ivica Zubac, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Woj mentions the trade gives the Lakers a chance to sign a player in the buyout market with the open roster spot. He reports the club plans to evaluate the full buyout market once it takes shape and that Carmelo Anthony is expected to be under consideration.

Muscala, 27, is averaging 7.4 points and 4.3 rebounds this season with the Clippers. Zubac, 21, has averaged 8.5 points and 4.9 rebounds this season with the Lakers. Beasley has posted averages of 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds.
