Former NFL player Greg Hardy is scheduled to face Dmitrii Smoliakov at the UFC Fight Night event on April 27 in Sunrise, Florida, according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN.
Hardy (3-1) lost his UFC debut in January when he was disqualified in a bout against Allen Crowder due to an illegal knee in the second round.
Smolyakov (8-2) is on a two-fight losing streak and hasn’t fought since January 2017. His two losses are his only fights in the UFC.
The UFC Fight Night show on April 27 does not have a main event and was originally scheduled to be headlined by Yoel Romero vs. Paulo Costa. However, Helwani is reporting Romero is currently in the midst of filming a reality show. As a result, Costa could be booked to face Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza unless Romero is eliminated from the reality show.
