Philadelphia 76ers center Boban Marjanovic went down with an apparent knee injury late during the team’s narrow win against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night.
The injury occurred when Boban went for a loose ball under the basket with under two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Boban was unable to make it off the floor under his own power.

“Where my head is mostly at the moment is just Boban, just really concerned about him more than anything,” Sixers head coach Brett Brown told reporters after the game via Philly Voice. “I don’t have any information, we look forward to receiving that information. But when you see something like that, your heart sinks. And he’s good people, and he’s helping us, he really was a significant contributor and piece to our program. We’ll keep our fingers crossed and learn more I’m sure very shortly.”
The Sixers have only announced the injury as a “right knee injury” and Boban will receive further evaluation this morning.
